So I made a set of four illustrations for the walls of the recently opened Black Rock Whisky Bar in Shoreditch. Two of these are above.
If you're in the area the place has an 18ft tree trunk running through the middle with hollowed out channels running the length that store and age blends of specially selected whisky. Which sounds so amazing I'm drunk just thinking about it.
The brief for this job was to create four illustrations involving whisky and film noir inspired characters and settings. Which is pretty much the exact brief I would have come up with if someone had asked me to design my perfect job and required a tremendous amount of whisky research (drinking) to get right.
