So I was completely knocked out with the flu a couple of weeks ago and watched the whole run of American Horror Story: Hotel in two days while unable to move from the sofa.
It was the perfect thing to compliment my feverish incapacitation. It required no thought and provided an overabundance of lurid imagery and sensationalism. I felt like a crushed toad staring fixedly through a blood-soaked kaleidoscope, and I was entertained sufficiently.
I was also pleasantly surprised by Denis O'hare's overtly non-sensationalist portrayal of Liz Taylor. So there she is above.
