So I'm a huge fan of The Royal Tenenbaums and the films of Wes Anderson. Which I think is probably not a surprise to anyone who has seen the disturbing amount of Bill Murray portraits I have posted since starting this blog.
And I had this great idea for a fun illustration project I would run on the back-burner whenever I had free time and just wanted to do some drawing. I planned to ink and then digitally colour the nine main characters from the Royal Tenenbaums (the family plus the major peripherals) and put them all together at the end and maybe make them into postcards or something. Which I'm still going to do, but at the moment I only have three and nothing else to post on the blog this week.
So as it stands, this is at best, one third as good as it was supposed to be.
