So this is another comic for the zine I'm putting together with Alys Jones for the Bristol Comic and Zine Fair.
I listened to lots of Ennio Morricone while drawing this to try and get into a state of mind appropriate for drawing sweeping desert panoramas. It had the pleasant side-effect of making my weekend spent alone, drawing in my room, feel much more epic than it would have otherwise.
Like last week I've ripped off an idea from a years old sketchbook because: I barely have enough time to draw all this stuff, thinking up new things to draw on top of that is hard, my neighbours have started to complain about the sound of my forehead repeatedly banging against the wall and it takes ages to clean all the blood up.
The original comic was a single one-page image. I haven't really added anything by making it five pages and fourteen panels... Except length. I've added length.
