So Rik Mayall died a week yesterday and he was undeniably brilliant and the world is a worse place because of it.
I'm not going to get mawkish here though, because Rik was an unfailingly grotesque foul-mouthed monster, and that's why we love him. It'd be a dishonour to the memory of his life and work to sentimentalise it and him. So here he is looking ugly, smug and superior. It's the most appropriate tribute I could think of, short of shitting on my keyboard, and I'm pretty sure it's how he would have wanted to be remembered.
