Just barely making the Tuesday update, but Philip Seymour Hoffman died a week-and-a-half ago and I always really liked him so here this is. I've been meaning to draw him for a while and was planning on making a poster for Synecdoche, New York at some point because I think it's one of the best films of the twenty-first century, it's equal parts funny and soul-crushingly depressing which is just what I like. He pretty much carries the film and it's where this image is from. I'll still probably do it at some point but that's a bigger project and I could only just about get this ready in time for it to still count as a send-off, which I feel reasonably confident is what he would have wanted.
I don't want this blog to become an update of People Who've Died Recently, but people I like keep dying.
