I drew this image about two years ago for my MA portfolio. It was saved under the name "Jake and Friends" but apart from that I don't think there's any meaning or story behind it. I'm all surface, you see - as shallow as a puddle and as empty as a broken promise.
So! The original was in black & white because it looks better that way and because I didn't know how to use Photoshop at the time (I still don't know how to use Photoshop, just less so) but I've gone back to it and added some colour. It's fun collaborating with myself from the past because he doesn't complain and I get to make all the decisions. Here's the black & white original too for comparison:
